It is m ainly used in cleaning raw m aterials (m aterials) of potato starch, potato powder and other complete production lines. The m achine adopts the principle of counter current washing. The m aterial (potato) flows into the roller cage of the cleaning m achine from the inlet and goes to the outlet along with the spiral sliver. The water in the cleaning tank, in the roller cage, reacts with the spiral twisted strip to the inlet of the cleaning m achine and moves in reverse direction with the m aterial (potato). The cleaning effect is good, which can remove mud and sand.
Potato washing m achine can clean, lift and transport fresh potato to starch m achine.
The sweet potato flows through a certain slope of the cleaning groove. In the cleaning groove, the sweet potato is soaked in water, and a considerable part of the large soil attached to the s u r f a c e falls off. Then, the sweet potato is sent to the cleaning m achine. After 2 or 3 times of cleaning, the sweet potato is sent to the next process or transported to the storage hopper by the inclined conveyor belt for standby. Two or three plate type cleaning m achines are used in series in the imported complete set of equipment. The m ain advantages of the cleaning m achine are that it can meet the design requirements, and the cleaning effect is good. After cleaning, it can carry out continuous production, reduce the size of the equipment, s i m p l e structure, less water consumption, and reduce the da m age rate of sweet potato.
主要应用于薯类淀粉、马铃薯全粉等成套生产线中的原料（物料）清洗。该机采用逆流洗涤原理，物料（薯类）从进口流入清洗机滚笼内随螺旋绞条至出口，而清洗槽内的水，在滚笼内螺旋绞条的反作用向清洗机进口，与物料（薯类）逆向运动，清洗效果好，可除泥、除砂。

红薯通过一定斜度的清洗沟槽流送，在清洗沟槽中红薯被水浸泡附着在表面的相当一部分大块泥土脱落，之后红薯被送人清洗机内，经过2次或3次清洗后，被送人下一道工序或通过倾斜式输送带输送到贮存料斗中备用。引进成套设备中清洗工艺采用2台或3台板式清洗机串联。清洗机主要的优点是，能满足设计要求，清洗效果较好，清洗后，可以进行连续生产，能够使设备尺寸缩小，结构简单，耗水量少，使红薯的破损率降低等。

清洗机由机架、主轴、滚笼、螺旋绞条、清洗槽及传动件组成，整机结构精简，设计合理，运行平，物料破碎率低，节能节水。
在清洗工作时，物料输送到转动的滚笼内，物料随螺旋绞条滚动前移，移至滚笼出口处，固定在滚笼出口端的料斗将洗净的物料舀至机外的输送带上，连接不断地将经过逆向水流清洗干净的物料送至下道工序。

During the cleaning process, the m aterials are transported to the rotating roller cage. The m aterials move forward with the spiral twisted bars and move to the outlet of the rolling cage. The hopper fixed at the outlet end of the roller cage ladles the cleaned m aterials onto the conveyor belt outside the m achine, and the m aterials cleaned by reverse water flow are continuously delivered to the next process.
