鲜薯淀粉机采用zui先进的锯齿式齿辊，将鲜薯通过高速旋转的齿辊将鲜薯刨成细丝状，且碎渣少，不堵塞过滤网，有利于淀粉的提取，同时锯齿锋利耐磨，了作业的连续性。淀粉机特殊的浆渣分离装置使刨碎的薯丝通过两次水冲洗，使淀粉和粉渣有足够的时间进行分离，从而提高淀粉的提取率。

淀粉机结构简单，使用方便，运转平稳，生产率高，维修便利。能够一次完成鲜薯的粗破碎、细磨浆、浆渣分离三道工序，能够重复利用浆液，减少了淀粉生产过程中的废水。
红薯淀粉分离机改变了手工生产淀粉时因氧化造成的淀粉光彩变差、变暗的现象;加工过程中被破碎打垮的粉渣在显微镜下呈丝状，有利于淀粉从纤维上游离出来，因此进一步提高了淀粉的提取率。
薯类制粉设备主要由螺旋清洗机、刨碎分离机、磨浆分离机、渣浆分离组合筛和搅拌机等单机组合而成，特别适合于乡镇企业用于马铃薯和甘薯等薯类淀粉的加工。
