Applications

ALATHON M 5370WC is a natural, high density, polyethylene copolymer resin with a narrow molecular weight distribution formulated for use as primary insulation for coaxial and control cable applications including gas-injected or chemically expanded insulation. M 5370WC provides high impact strength and stress crack resistance, excellent color, low odor and good processability.

Processing Techniques
M 5370WC, like other thermoplastic polyolefin resins, can be extruded as wire and cable insulation using a conventional extruder. Below are suggested extrusion conditions for M 5370WC. These conditions are intended as general guidelines only and are not optimum values, since manufacturing conditions such as extruder type and size affect the processing of thermoplastic resins.

主要用途：

1 注塑制品：有周转箱、瓶盖、桶类、帽、食品容器、盘、垃圾箱、盒、以及塑料花.

2 吹塑制品：中空成型制品，如各种系列吹塑桶、容器、瓶类、盛放清洁剂、化学品、化妆品等，汽油箱、日用品等。还有吹膜制品如食品包装袋，杂品购物袋，化肥内衬薄膜等。

3 挤塑制品：管材、管件主要用在煤气输送，公共用水和化学品输送，如建材排水管、煤气管、热水管等：片材主要用于座椅，手提箱，搬运容器等。

4 旋转成型：注塑制品如大型容器、储藏罐、桶，箱等：

HDPE适合热塑性成型加工的各种成型工艺，成型加工性好，如注塑，挤塑，吹塑，旋转成型，涂覆、发泡工艺、热成型、热封焊、热焊接等.

HDPE性能：

HDPE具有很好的电性能，特别是绝缘介电强度高，使其很适用于电线电缆。中到高分子量等级具有极好的抗冲击性，在常温甚至在-40F低温度下均如此。各种等级HDPE的独有特性是四种基本变量的适当结合：密度、分子量、分子量分布和添加剂。不同的催化剂被用于生产定制特殊性能聚合物。这些变量相结合生产出不同用途的HDPE品级；在性能上达到最佳的平衡。

HDPE(高密度聚乙烯)：HDPE是一种结晶度高、非极性的热塑性树脂。原态HDPE的外表呈乳白色，在微薄截面呈一定程度的半透明状。PE具有优良的耐大多数生活和工业用化学品的特性。某些种类的化学品会产生化学腐蚀，例如腐蚀性氧化剂（浓硝酸），芳香烃（二甲苯）和卤化烃 （四氯化碳）。该聚合物不吸湿并具有好的防水蒸汽性，可用于包装用途。
