ENFLEX? V1060A BLK UV by Ravago Manufacturing Americas is a recyclable polypropylene and ethylene propylene diene monomer vulcanizate (PP EPDM TPV) grade. Exhibits weather resistance, elasticity like rubber, high heat resistance, low compression set, good processability, overmolding and blending compatibility with polypropylene (PP). Provides weak acid- , alcohol- , base- , detergent- , oil- , ozone- , solvent- and UV resistance. Shows good performance of vulcanized rubber with advantage of low-cost thermoplastic processing. Offers low fogging, very good fatigue resistance and tear strength, self-coloring due to proper masterbatches (MB) and utilized as pre-colored compounds. Suitable for extrusion and injection molding methods. Designed to replace thermoset elastomers such as ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), polychloroprene and traditional thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV). ENFLEX? V1060A BLK UV can be possibly used in construction, appliance, houseware, electric electronics, automotive interior, exterior and under the hood applications.

TPV组成
许多塑料和橡胶之间可形成TPV,但仅有个别共混物经过动态硫化后具有实用价值,商业化的有PP/PE/EPDM,PP/NBR,PP/ACM,PS/SEBS。在化工出版社《热塑性弹性体》一书中对11种橡胶和9种塑料制备的99种橡胶/塑料共混物进行了评论,研究发现,要得到最佳性能的橡胶/热塑性塑料动态硫化共混物,必须满足以下条件:
(1)塑料和橡胶两种聚合物的表面能匹配;
(2)橡胶缠结分子链长度较低;
(3)塑料的结晶度大于15%。当塑料与橡胶之间的极性或表面能差别比较大的情况下,添加合适的相容剂,再进行动态硫化,也可以得到性能优良的共混物。
1)注塑加工
TPV的熔体粘度比许多种普通热塑性材料更大,在加工时,需应用较大的注料嘴、注料口、流道和浇口,还需要采用高的注射压力和较快的注射速率,以提高充模速度和减少飞边,此后在较高的压力下有一个短的保持时间,使之足以将浇料口冻结。 注射螺杆的速度应当是100至200转/分,背压力在不需要混合时应当尽可能低。
2)挤塑加工
不需要真空定径。建议采用长径比为28比1或更大比例的挤塑机。通常单段螺杆比为3比1左右,如果需要用筛网组合,可用20至60网目的筛网。最好将熔体温度保持在规定范围的下限,使挤塑产品的质量最优。
3)吹塑加工
TPV机械操作条件要求与注塑和挤塑所规定的相同。模具设计、型坯尺寸、加工周期时间、以及壁厚均匀等吹塑加工因素都与制件的几何形状有很大的关系。熔体加热过度将使牵伸比下降,应当避免过热。
