性质

白色可燃结晶粉末，具有甲醛气味。 缓慢溶于冷水，在热水中溶解较快。20℃时水中溶解度0.24g/100cm3H2O。不溶于乙醇、乙醚。溶于苛性钠、钾溶液。

缺点

受强酸腐蚀，耐侯差，粘合性差，热分解与软化温度接近，限氧指数小。
