PPS(聚苯硫醚)英文名称:Phenylene sulfide 比重:1.36克/立方厘米 成型收缩率:0.7% 成型温度：300-330℃ 。它是一种综合性能优异的热塑性特种工程塑料，其突出的特点是耐高温，耐腐蚀和优越的机械性能。 PPS是含硫芳香族聚合物，线型PPS在350℃以上交联后成热固性塑料，支链型结构PPS为热塑性塑料。PPS是美国菲利普公司于1971年首先实现工业化生产的，专利到期后，日本的企业也开始研发和生产。日企比较典型的有日本的东丽公司，现阶段日本的产量已大于美国的产量。
