POM是一种塑胶原材料，中文名称是聚甲醛，学名:聚氧亚甲基，英文名：Acetalresin，Polyoxymethylene,Polyacetal.俗称：赛钢。
描述：POM塑胶原料为乳白色不透明的颗粒，不同地区叫法不一样，有叫聚甲醛树脂颗粒，有叫赛钢料，也就叫POM塑料米.
(聚甲醛)是六十年代出现的一种高熔点、高结晶性的热塑性工程塑料。工作温度从零下60度到 100度。由于其表面强度高并且很光滑，POM具有优良的滑动性和耐磨性。POM基本上不会出现张力。具有高耐热稳定性及化学稳定性。
特性：机械强度高，刚性大，硬度高;优异的弹性;抗蠕变性能好;即使在低温下，冲击强度高;非常好的尺寸稳定性;滑动性能好，耐磨;机械性能优异;生理惰性，适宜与食品接触。
缺点：不耐强酸和强氧化剂，粘接油漆性差，无自熄性，不耐冲击
应用：轴承滚轴，轴承套圈，建筑小五金件，嵌齿轮，泵壳，螺丝，精细加工和制衣工业部件等。
主要用于齿轮，轴承，汽车零部件、 机床、仪表内件等起骨架作用的产品。
