TPV(热塑性动态硫化橡胶)有轻微的吸湿特性,建议进行补充干燥,特别是在进行挤塑或吹塑加工前,更要进行干燥。在把材料放到干燥箱中之前,应当先把干燥器的温度升高到65-75℃。然后使TPV(热塑性动态硫化橡胶)在干燥箱中保持2-3小时。应避免与相对湿度的环境接触,因为材料会吸收水分,使加工的产品产生空洞。虽然暴露在高湿度条件下,并不影响其物理性能。如果在停机较长的时间之后,在重新开始操作之前,应当把挤塑机筒内所存留的原料排出。在加工TPV之前和之后,应当把挤塑设备彻底清理干净。注塑设备或挤塑机机筒应当以机械方式清理或者用聚乙烯或聚丙烯彻底置换排空。
